Muscatine Arboretum

Muscatine Arboretum Association was founded in November 1995 to develop an Arboretum on land owned by Muscatine County in Muscatine, Iowa. The idea of an Arboretum was the brain child of a Landscape Architect and a group of private citizens who were avid tree planters.

This 15 acre feature in Discovery Park showcases a variety of native and ornamental trees and shrubs. The arboretum also offers demonstration gardens with hostas and ornamental grasses. To date over 1000 trees and shrubs have been planted.
